3D printing quote online in Tenerife: how to request one
How to request a 3D printing quote online in Tenerife: what files or photos to send, what drives the 3D printing cost and a free fixed quote in 24 h.
You’ve got a part in mind — or a broken one in your hand — and the first thing you want to know is the price before you commit. Requesting a 3D printing quote online is the fastest way: you send us what you have from home and we send back a fixed price, no trip and no obligation.
When is an online quote the best move?
Almost always. A remote quote saves you the trip and gives you a real figure before you commit. It’s ideal if:
- You already have a 3D file and just want the price and lead time.
- You only have a photo, a sketch or a broken part and aren’t sure it can be printed.
- You’re comparing options and need a written quote to decide.
We work from Tenerife for the whole of the Canary Islands, so whether you’re in Santa Cruz, Adeje or on another island, the quote is just as quick.
What we need to quote your part
The clearer you make it, the more accurate the price. Ideally:
- The 3D file, if you have one: we accept STL, STEP, 3MF and OBJ.
- A photo, sketch or description if you don’t. No problem — we model the part for you (3D design included, from €20-60).
- Approximate dimensions (height × width × length) or a size reference in the photo.
- The material or the use: decorative, functional, outdoor? That tells us whether to pick PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA or resin.
- The quantity: one unit doesn’t cost the same as a run of 50.
What the 3D printing cost is made of
A quote isn’t a random number. It’s built from four blocks:
- Material and grams: how much filament or resin the part uses. PLA is the cheapest; resin is the premium option.
- Print time: the hours the machine is running. A large or highly detailed part takes more hours.
- Post-processing: sanding, painting, sealing or joining large parts is hand work and shows on the invoice.
- 3D design: only if we start from a photo or sketch and have to model from scratch.
The final invoice includes the Canary IGIC tax.
