Materials that withstand the sun and salt spray of the south
The south lives facing the sea and beneath unforgiving sun. Ordinary plastic turns yellow and brittle within months; that’s why, for everything that will be outdoors in the area, we use technical materials designed for the job:
- ASA for signage, lettering and façade pieces: resists UV radiation without yellowing, ideal for seafront locations.
- PETG for brackets, marine applications and parts exposed to humidity and salt spray from marinas.
- IP65-sealed LED electronics in signage, so that rain driven by the southerly wind and sea air don’t reach the circuitry.
If your part or sign will face the street or the sea, we’ll advise you on the right material; we explain it in detail in which signage withstands the coastal climate. For interiors in apartments and hotels we use standard materials, which are more economical.
