What 3D modelling & design is
You have a part in your head, a photo of a discontinued spare or a sketch on a napkin — but no file to print. That’s where our 3D modelling and design service comes in: we turn your idea into a precise three-dimensional model, ready to manufacture. It’s the step before any print when the file doesn’t exist yet.
At PifagorLab we model with professional CAD software (parametric and organic sculpting), so we create both technical parts with exact measurements and artistic figures and reliefs.
How we work: from photo to STL file
- You tell us what you need. A photo, a hand drawing, a plan or a description with measurements. The more information, the better.
- We model the part in 3D. We rebuild the geometry respecting real proportions, fits and tolerances.
- We send you a preview. You review the model and request changes before anything is printed.
- We deliver the ready file. An STL or 3MF prepared for printing, or the editable STEP if you want to keep working on it.
If you also want the part manufactured, we link straight to our 3D printing service: we design, print and hand you the finished object.
What a good 3D model is for
- Print a unique part that isn’t sold anywhere.

If you already have a file but it throws errors (holes in the mesh, thin walls, wrong sizes), we also repair and optimise it so it prints well.
