3D scanning & replicas

We digitise your object or part with a 3D scanner to replicate it, redesign it or print a faithful copy — even if the original is no longer made.

Reverse engineering

We turn your physical part into an editable CAD model to reproduce it, improve it or make a discontinued spare.

Faithful copy

We capture the object's real geometry and print it in the right material, from decorative PLA to maximum-detail resin.

The 3D file is yours

We deliver the model in STL, STEP, 3MF or OBJ: keep it and reprint the part whenever you need it.

You have a unique object, a discontinued part or a hand-made model and you need to reproduce it exactly. Measuring it by hand is slow and imprecise. With a 3D scanner we capture its real geometry and turn it into a file ready to replicate, redesign or archive.

What is 3D scanning and what is it for?

3D scanning is digitising a physical object to obtain its exact three-dimensional model. From that model you can:

  • Replicate a part identical to the original, as many times as you need.
  • Reverse-engineer a discontinued spare: we rebuild the part no one makes anymore.
  • Copy an object — a figure, a sculpture, a keepsake — to reproduce or scale it.
  • Digitise and archive the geometry, to reprint in the future without measuring again.

From physical object to 3D model

  1. You bring us the object (or send it from any island). We scan its real shape, without plans or manual measurements.
  2. We clean the mesh and, if needed, rebuild it in CAD to get an editable, precise part.
  3. We print the replica in the right material, or hand you the file only.
  4. We check the fit. If the geometry is critical, we make a test before the final part.

We accept and deliver files in STL, STEP, 3MF and OBJ, so the model is yours.

What to bring and its limits

Ideally the physical object: the part (even if broken), the figure or the original you want to copy. Keep a couple of limits in mind:

  • Size: a solid replica reaches 30×30×30 cm; larger objects we print in sections with a professional finish.
  • Surface: very shiny, transparent or mirror-like surfaces need prior preparation to scan well.
  • Copy material: we choose it by use, from PLA or resin for maximum detail to PETG, ABS or ASA for functional and outdoor parts.

Prices and timelines

Scanning with a replica starts from €30; the final price depends on size, complexity and whether you need only the file, only the printed copy or both.

Frequently asked questions

What is 3D scanning and what is it for?

It's digitising a physical object to obtain its exact three-dimensional model. With it you can replicate it, redesign it, reverse-engineer a spare or archive the geometry to reprint it in the future.

Can you make a 3D replica of a discontinued part?

Yes. We scan the broken part or an intact identical one, rebuild the geometry in CAD and print it in a technical material. It's our speciality, alongside spare parts.

How much does a 3D scan with replica cost in Tenerife?

From €30. The price depends on the object's size and complexity and whether you need only the file, only the printed copy or both. The quote is free and we reply within 24 h.

Which objects don't scan well?

Very shiny, transparent or mirror-like surfaces cause problems and need prior preparation. Objects over 30 cm we scan and print in sections with a professional finish.
